Broken springs leave household doors too heavy to lift
Why it happens here
Springs wear through repeated lifting cycles, and a failure can occur without a long warning period. Heavier doors and older hardware place a greater demand on the lift system. Once a spring breaks, the opener is not designed to carry the full door weight by itself.
Our approach
We secure the door and identify the spring type and door weight before selecting a replacement. We inspect cables and brackets for damage, balance the door after installation, and test movement. We do not ask you to adjust a spring under tension.
