Broken springs leave large custom doors too heavy for their openers.
Why it happens here
A spring wears through repeated lifting cycles, and a heavier or insulated door places a particular load on the counterbalance system. When the spring breaks, the opener may still run but cannot safely lift the door's full weight. A loud bang or sudden heavy door is a warning.
Our approach
We secure the door, identify the spring type, and match replacement parts to the door's dimensions and weight. We inspect cables and drums for strain, then balance the door and check opener load. We never treat a spring failure as an opener-only problem.
